Birmingham tops list of fastest improving cities

A recent report carried out by PwC and thinktank Demos has named Birmingham the most rapidly improving city to live and work in England. Taking into account factors such as transport, work-life balance, inequality and health, the research found falling unemployment and a wave of regeneration projects significantly benefitting Britain’s second city.

Unemployment in particular has seen a significant drop, falling to 7.4% last year after standing at 11.4% in 2013. With opportunities rising and the city undergoing considerable development, Birmingham is becoming an increasingly desirable location for those looking to relocate.
